Fiona L . Munro
After gaining Registered Mental Health Nurse status in 2001, I initially worked in a hospital setting, assisting people at their most vulnerable time on the path to recovery. And this was where it all began!
My focus moved after several years to the community, working in the outpatient clinic, conducting home visits, and offering reviews at GP Surgeries. It was during this time that I truly developed my interest in psychological interventions. Mental ill-health and poor well-being may not only change how we think, feel and react from an individual perspective but, involve everyday life with our family, friends and activities. So looking at the wider picture, the need for evidence-based interventions to progress things in a timely manner is of paramount importance.
I have spent years investing in, and understanding, the most recognised psychotherapies offered today. I have also been fortunate to have been guided by the very best, and most experienced practitioners, with whom I continue to undertake ongoing supervision today.
In 2020 (after nearly 25 years of working In the NHS) I decided to step into the private sector, joining International SOS to provide therapy predominately to the Oil & Gas Sector, as well as to educational and local government organisations.
I have conducted webinars and workshops on mental health, well-being & resiliency training throughout the pandemic, and have offered post-trauma support. I hold OGUK Medical and Offshore Survival certification, allowing for offshore travel.

The pandemic, and post-recovery of, has taken its toll on mental health & well-being, with lengthy waiting lists to access services only adding to the frustration. My online clinic aims to provide top-of-the-line mental health services - the joy of this being at a location and time that suits you - without unnecessary travel arrangements.

Whether you need professional assistance overcoming mental ill-health, navigating adjustment/difficult life stressors, a traumatic experience, or for general guidance on maximising your mental health, well-being, resilience or performance, my experience ensures a tailored made approach that goes above and beyond to meet your needs. What works for one person, may not be suitable for another, so I take great pride in being able to apply the right approach for you.
